Scholarly Communication Support Service

The Manchester eScholar Scholarly Communications Support Service provides advice and guidance on scholarly communication practices. Scholarly communication practices are complex, diverse, vary between research disciplines, have changed significantly in the last 10 years and continue to change.

The service offers guidance on publishers copyright, funder requirements, open access publishing, bibliometrics, external related services e.g. Sherpa/Romeo, new forms of scholarly communication e.g. mega-journals and publishing strategies. Guidance is available via this website, our twitter feed, the eScholar Blog and mailing list and via, telephone and email enquiries. Where appropriate and on request, members of the Manchester eScholar Support Team can support wider presentations, workshops and face-to-face meetings.

Advice is available to all University staff and students who may request support at any time.
