Digital Content Dissemination and Interoperability Service
The Manchester eScholar Digital Content Dissemination and Interoperability Service provides mechanisms for individuals and machines to find and re-use content deposited in Manchester eScholar.
This Service provides feeds of content deposited in Manchester eScholar to a range of University-related public websites. In practice this means researchers affiliated with the University need only add a record of their scholarly work to Manchester eScholar once and this information is automatically displayed on multiple University websites, as appropriate.

- John Rylands University Library - Manchester eScholar
This Service also aims to enable individuals within and beyond the University to easily find relevant content using their prefered search engine. To do this we expose content deposited in Manchester eScholar to as many search engines as possible. University based search functions include:

- Manchester eScholar search
- Manchester Business School academic publications search
- School of Computer Sciences publications
Content deposited in Manchester eScholar is also exposed to Google, Google Scholar and other external search engines.
Please note, ONLY content marked as ‘visible’ in Manchester eScholar is made available to public websites and exposed to search engines. Content marked as 'hidden' is only available to the depositor and approved individuals within the University. Individual researchers can make their content 'visible' or 'hidden' access at anytime.
This service also enables the exchange of Manchester eScholar content with University databases through secured data feeds. Individuals and organizations within the University may request access to a data feed for external and internal business needs.
