My eScholar Service
University staff and postgraduate students can access the My eScholar Service via My eScholar login,
The My eScholar Service is a web based application that researchers and other individuals within the University can use to self-deposit their scholarly work, research outputs and publications (e.g. journal articles, books, book contributions, conference contributions) into Manchester eScholar (the University of Manchester's institutional repository).
Individuals can self-deposit metadata-only records and/or metadata records with full-text plus supplementary files and delegate to other individuals privileges to deposit on their behalf. Individuals and their delegates have full privileges to add, modify, delete and view their records. They can bulk import metadata records from discipline specific bibliographic databases, set the access state of their records to open or closed and export their records for offline use.
All University staff and postgraduate students are pre-registered to use the My eScholar Service. Access is restricted and individuals need to log on using their University central network username and password. The My eScholar Service uses the University's Central Authentication System (CAS). It may be accessed from My Manchester (the University's portal) using the My eScholar portlet, Facutly/School intranets, John Rylands University Library website and from the Manchester eScholar Services website.
