Abstract

The findings of an exploratory investigation into Liverpool's early railway heritage, in particular the pre-1830 remains associated with the Liverpool and Manchester Railway. The report identifies surviving structures, some unlisted, summarises interviews with stakeholders, and concludes with recommendations for the attention of the World Heritage Officer of Liverpool City Council.
